About Us
We bring together lived experience, advocacy, and community action to improve care, reduce stigma, and create lasting change.
Creating a stronger voice for recovery advocacy in California.
SUD Voices for Change was created to help ensure that people impacted by substance use are included in conversations shaping systems of care, recovery support, and public policy across California.
We believe lived experience brings essential insight, credibility, and leadership to systems change efforts.
Through advocacy, leadership development, storytelling, and regional community building, we work to reduce stigma, strengthen recovery support systems, and help communities create lasting change.
The organization is being developed through collaboration between advocates, providers, behavioral health leaders, and people with lived experience across California.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Stronger systems start with real representation.
Across California, people continue to face barriers to treatment, housing, recovery support, and respectful care. We work to ensure that policies and programs reflect the experiences, needs, and solutions of the communities most impacted.
Statewide Collaboration
Stronger together.
We are grateful to the organizations and communities who partner with us to advance equity, compassion, and effective systems of care.
